In the vast expanse of the digital cosmos, where countless stars shine with their unique light, how do you ensure your radiance is not just seen but felt deeply by those who encounter it? The answer lies in creating a signature style online, a reflection of your essence that resonates with the souls seeking your magic. As you journey with me, embrace the idea that within you lies an untapped reservoir of creativity, wisdom, and power. You are not just a content creator; you are a modern-day shaman, weaving spells of connection, understanding, and transformation through your work.
Embrace Your Unique Essence Your signature style starts with the core of who you are. Dive deep into your wisdom, experiences, and passions. What colors represent your energy? What themes recur in your dreams and conversations? This introspection is the first step toward unveiling the power within, a being of authority and kindness, guiding your audience toward enlightenment and abundance. Actionable Tip: Create a mood board that includes your favorite colors, textures, and elements that you feel deeply connected to. This visual collection will serve as a foundation for your unique online style. Craft Stories That Connect Storytelling is the ancient art of shamans, used to heal, teach, and connect communities. In your content, weave narratives that touch on universal truths, personal anecdotes, and transformative insights. Let each post be a tapestry that portrays the multifaceted dimensions of your spirit. This authentic storytelling will make readers feel at home, as if they're listening to a friend who knows them deeply and cares genuinely. You can read about my story in From Blog to Empire: My Stubborn Journey to Building a Luxury Brand. Actionable Tip: Start a content series that shares your personal journey or lessons learned in a way that reflects broader, relatable themes. Use storytelling frameworks, like the Hero's Journey, to structure your narratives. Visual Harmony: Your Digital Totem In the visual language of your content, every element should speak to your inner essence. Choose images, fonts, and layouts that echo your spiritual journey and professional ethos. Whether it's the serene blues of a healing lake or the vibrant reds of a passionate heart, let your visuals be a totem that guides your audience to you. This visual harmony becomes a beacon, attracting those who seek the same vibrational frequency. Actionable Tip: Choose a consistent filter or set of presets for your visual content to create a cohesive look across all platforms. This visual consistency helps in making your brand instantly recognizable. Engage with Love and Wisdom Engagement is not just about numbers; it's about genuine connections. Respond to comments, messages, and emails with the warmth and wisdom of a nurturing guide. Share insights, offer support, and celebrate the successes of your community. They should authentically become your family. This kindness fosters a loyal following, eager to support you not just with their attention but with their hearts and wallets. Actionable Tip: Dedicate a specific time each day to engage with your audience. Whether it's responding to comments, visiting their profiles, or creating content based on their feedback, make this practice a ritual. Consistency: The Rhythm of Your Rituals Consistency in posting is akin to the regular rituals of ancient shamans. It creates a rhythm, a predictable comfort that your audience looks forward to. Whether it's a weekly blog post, a daily story, or a monthly newsletter, let each publication be a ritual where your followers can find solace, inspiration, and a sense of belonging. Actionable Tip: Use a content calendar to plan your posts, stories, and any other content in advance. This not only ensures consistency but also helps in aligning your content with your spiritual and promotional goals. Inviting Abundance Through Calls To Action Every piece of content should gently guide your audience toward the actions that will enrich their lives—and yours. Whether it's purchasing a product, signing up for a workshop, or simply sharing your content, make your calls to action clear, inviting, and infused with the promise of transformation. Actionable Tip: Include a clear and compelling call to action at the end of every content piece. Experiment with different formats and messages to see what resonates most with your audience and leads to the desired action. Your Digital Legacy As you craft your signature style online, remember that you are creating more than just content; you are building a legacy. Through your words, visuals, and engagement, you're establishing a realm where your audience can find guidance, inspiration, and a touch of magic. Your online presence becomes a sacred space, a digital sanctuary where every visitor leaves enriched and empowered. Actionable Tip: Regularly review and refine your online content and presence to ensure it aligns with the legacy you wish to leave. Consider how each piece of content contributes to your overarching message and mission. Embrace your role as a digital shaman, a God or Goddess of the online world, where your content is not just seen but felt, transforming the hearts and minds of those who encounter it. Your job has ordered workers to complete their tasks from home or you’ve been laid off or let go and need to start your own business - but from home. Whether due to new rules at your job or a personal preference to work from home, you need help getting into the swing of things. You’re new at this work-at-home thing and need a few pointers to make it work effectively. As someone who has been running her own business from home since 2005, don’t worry! I can help. Here are 4 tips for new work-at-homers.
Relax. Breathe. Release. This is the very first thing you need to do before doing anything else. Relax your mind. Take a few deep breaths. Think about what is going on and what your goals are. Let it sink in and then release all negative energies surrounding it. Some may use healing jewelry for this purpose. Yoga is another great way to clear the mind and get prepared for change. Working independently can be difficult for some not used to work from home positions. Relaxing your mind can go a long way in prepping for this change. Set Up a Comfortable Effective Workspace Even if you only plan to be working from home temporarily, you still need a place to do it. When your workspace is comfortable and contains everything you will need for work, it’s much easier to get your job done correctly. Consider the type of work that you do when creating your space. You can create this spot as a section in an existing room or if you have one you can use, convert an entire room. No matter how large or small the space you have to work with, make sure it has everything you need to do your job effectively. Most jobs will require at least a desk and some office supplies. After you choose the correct desk for your specific use, consider other essentials your job may not have supplied you with and be sure they're within easy reach. You may also want to decorate this space to make it an enjoyable one. Even if not required for work, be sure to have some way to communicate with the outside world from home. Don’t Panic. You Can Do This. If I can work from home as a mother of 7, running over 20 websites, a web store, making handcrafted items, and doing tons of services daily (like content writing, consulting, and publicity) while making sure a baby, toddlers, and teens are all taken care of, you can do it with hopefully a smaller workload than I have. I don’t recommend starting off with my kind of workload, unless necessary. I’m an experienced pro and have mastered the art of multitasking properly without taking away from people or tasks. The point is if I can get to that level, you can get to whatever your level is too. Consult With Experienced Work At Home Professionals This one is a must, especially if you are having issues getting started, staying on task, or finishing on time. Join work at home support groups online, such as our group for Brand Shamans on Facebook. Ask questions in those groups or of people you already know who work at home. Don’t be afraid to reach out if you need help. We all start somewhere and there is always someone to help. Social distancing doesn't include online spaces and there are always people in reach. If you have no idea what business to start or what direction you should go in, feel free to get on a consulting chat with myself or another on our team of experts. Learn what business you should start based on a variety of things revealed about yourself by consulting with us. Questions, tips, or commentary? Feel free to use the comment section below.
